Coppinger, Steve

Mr. Coppinger is the Director of Energy Services for CalPortland Company. He created CalPortland’s energy management program in 2003 and has managed it ever since. He has been with the company for 22 years. Mr. Coppinger has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania in the U.S. He is a graduate of UCLA’s Executive Management Program and is a licensed professional engineer in the State of California. Mr. Coppinger participates on several industry committees including the Portland Cement Association and ENERGY STAR®’s Cement Focus Group. He is the Vice Chair of the IEEE Cement Industry National Committee and is the Co-Chair for the Portland Cement Association’s Energy Subcommittee. He is on the Editorial Advisory Board for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Matters Newsletter.
