Lennox, Elaine
Elaine Lennox is Vice President of Marketing Management for IBM’s Enterprise Systems Division. In this role, Elaine is responsible for leading the planning of marketing and sales activities towards IBM’s largest clients. This includes a focus on helping our IBM clients embrace and move towards IBM’s vision of the New Enterprise Data Center, with a focus on energy efficient and green technologies and services. Prior to this role, Elaine was Vice President of Marketing for the System iTM family of offerings, where she was responsible, for driving demand generation, awareness and understanding of the unique value proposition of IBM i operating system. Other roles at IBM have included VP of Marketing Program Operations, VP of SMB (Small and Medium Business) Marketing for IBM Systems and Technology Group and VP of Sales and Marketing for IBM WebFountainTM, an emerging growth business based in IBM Research and focused on advanced data analytics. Prior to joining IBM, Elaine directed the marketing function for a Silicon Valley startup named Whistle Communications, which became the leading provider of Internet appliances and services for the small business market, and was purchased by IBM in mid 1999. As a former manager of Servers at Hewlett Packard, Elaine managed a broad line of Intel based servers for HP, while earlier in her career, Elaine was a European Marketing Manager for Hewlett Packard, based in Grenoble, France. . Elaine is an alumni of Grenoble Graduate School of Business, and holds a Bachelors of Science from Aston Business School in England. She is originally from Dumfries in South West Scotland.
