Press Release: 2nd US-China Green Energy Council Annual Conference
The US-China Green Energy Council is Pleased to Announce:
The Second ANNUAL US-China Green Energy Forum
On the evening of October 22, 2009 and all day October 23, 2009
At the Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel, Palo Alto, CA
Sunday, July 19, 2009
The Forum starts off with a gala dinner co-hosted by the UCGEC and the Berkeley Chinese Alumni International Association (BCAIA) on the evening of October 22, 2009. Speaking at the event will be Shankar Sastry, Dean of the UC Berkeley College of Engineering and Steve Westly, CEO of the Westly Group and former Chief Fiscal Officer of the State of California.
The Forum will continue on October 23, 2009 with four panels touching on the following broad topics: smart grid, eco-cities, sustainable development, renewable energy, and green transportation. The panelists and keynote speakers will be representing such organizations as the Chinese Ministry of Construction, the Chinese State Council, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Best Solar, Altair, the Chinese Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC), Sennet Capital, Intel, General Motors, and MANY more. Further, the Forum will be hosting a delegation of over 80 chinese cleantech professionals.
Following the four panels, Marvell will host a reception on the Marvell Campus. Speaking at the reception will be U.S. Congressman Mike Honda and Sehat Sutardja, Chairman, President and CEO of Marvell.
