Wei, Qingpeng 魏庆芃
Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor

Dr. Qingpeng Wei received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in building services engineering from Tsinghua University. Dr. Wei initiated his research in building energy efficiency (BEE) in 1996. And he was involved in lots of international cooperation projects on BEE, including UNDP-GEF: CHINA End-use Energy Efficiency Project, World Bank funded CHINA - Building Energy Efficiency Study, AGS (Alliance of Global Sustainability) funded project: CHINA - Large-scale Sustainable Housings: Design and Demo, Europe Asia Link Project: Low-energy Demo Building in China, etc. Currently, his research interest is energy efficiency in large-scaled commercial buildings which have the highest electricity use intensity among all kinds of buildings in China. Dr. Wei and his team have accomplished energy diagnosis in more than 150 buildings in China, Hong Kong SAR and USA, including 20 office buildings of central government, Olympic venues, etc. Dr. Wei were also invited to visit and investigate energy performance data of commercial buildings in France, Belgium, Netherland, Germany and Japan, No-cost retrofitting techniques including control strategy optimization, energy efficiency oriented FDD, have been implemented in about 20 buildings which obtained more than 30% of energy savings.
魏庆芃,博士,副教授 清华大学建筑节能研究中心大型公建节能研究团队负责人 作为主要完成人研究建成世界首个大型公建能耗分项计量与实时分析系统,第一次揭示出大型公建照明、空调等各项系统实际运行能耗的现状、特点和问题,提出大型公建分项计量优化配置技术导则和能耗数据挖掘基本方法。 所领导的团队先后完成包括中南海、人民大会堂等二十家中央国家机关和北京、上海、深圳、香港、美国等地超过150座、近二千万平米大型公建的节能诊断,在示范工程中实现大型公建低成本改造当年节能30%。 目前正在承担 “十一五”国家科技支撑计划重大项目2项,省部级项目2项、国际合作项目4项。作为负责人主持完成3项政策研究,负责制订《空调系统经济运行标准》等4项标准规范。
