Hamilton, Paul
VP Energy Efficiency Program
Schneider Electric (China) Investment Co.
Energy Efficiency was established as a core business initiative for Schneider Electric in early 2006. Paul has led the program since its inception and in this role he is responsible for promoting and developing the global business of Schneider Electric in the areas of energy efficiency and sustainability. Today Paul is actively engaged in the global communities of energy efficiency and sustainability. He has represented Schneider Electric in a variety of public events and organizations around the world on the topic. His main message revolves around the impact energy efficiency can have on people, business and the planet and the opportunities we have to manage and impact change. Since 1998 Paul has managed various aspects of the services and automation businesses for Schneider Electric. Prior to this he was involved in several successful venture startups for industrial control software and the safety control systems business. Paul started his career at GE in the electrical equipment business before moving into the automation business. Paul was born in the USA and currently resides in the Boston area with a wife and two children. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1976.
