NxtPhase 输配电公司首席技术执行官 Farnoosh Rahmatian received his B.A.Sc. (Hon.), M.A.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, B.C., Canada, in 1991, 1993, and 1997, respectively, all in electrical engineering. From 1997 to 2004, Dr. Rahmatian was the Director of Research & Development at NxtPhase Corporation, also in Vancouver, working on precision high-voltage optical instrument transformers. Since April 2004, he has been the Director of Advanced Systems Applications at NxtPhase T&D Corporation focusing on commercial deployment and practical applications of optical instrument transformers. He has also been an adjunct professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia, a member of IEC, IEEE, CIGRE, and CSA working groups on instrument transformers, IEEE Power & Energy Society, and IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society. Dr. Rahmatian has published over 50 scientific and technical papers, is the inventor or co-inventor of more than 10 US patents and applications, and a co-recipient of the 2002 R&D-100 award for the NXVCT Optical Voltage and Current Sensor.
